Billing Clerk

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist with experience in government contracting (Gov Con) to manage invoicing, contract compliance, and revenue processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Unanet ERP Gov Con and a strong understanding of federal billing regulations.

Key Responsibilities

+ Prepare, review, and submit accurate invoices for government contracts

+ Ensure billing complies with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and contract terms

+ Utilize Unanet ERP Gov Con for project setup, labor distribution, and invoicing

+ Monitor project costs, funding, and contract ceilings

+ Reconcile billed vs. unbilled accounts and resolve discrepancies

+ Collaborate with project managers, finance, and contracts teams

+ Support audits and maintain proper documentation

+ Track subcontractor invoices and ensure proper billing treatment

+ Assist with month-end close and revenue recognition processes

Requirements

+ 3+ years of billing experience in government contracting (Gov Con)

+ Hands-on experience with Unanet ERP Gov Con

+ Knowledge of FAR, DCAA requirements, and contract billing types

+ Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, reconciliations)

+ High attention to detail and accuracy

+ Strong communication and organizational skills
