Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 annually
About the RoleMy client is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to support financial operations across multiple business entities. This position is responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, job costing, billing, financial recordkeeping, and administrative support. The ideal candidate has strong Quick Books experience and a background in construction or project-based accounting.
Key Responsibilities- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Process vendor invoices and subcontractor payments
- Prepare client invoices, progress billings, and construction draw requests
- Maintain accurate job costing and project financial records
- Process payroll and maintain employee records
- Track outstanding receivables and assist with collections
- Prepare 1099s and support year‑end accounting processes
- Maintain business licenses, vehicle registrations, and insurance records
- Assist with monthly financial reporting and audit preparation
- Support General Managers and Project Managers with administrative and financial tasks
- 10+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Strong proficiency in Quick Books Online
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and job costing
- Construction, design‑build, or project‑based accounting experience preferred
- Familiarity with progress billing, draw requests, and contract invoicing
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace
