Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and track all financial obligations related to commercial lease properties, including accurate billing of pass-through expenses
- Maintain and update lease administration systems (MRI), ensuring all data is current and accurate, including rent schedules, operating expenses, lease terms, expiration dates, renewal options, and termination rights
- Abstract and review lease documents, including leases, subleases, and amendments, ensuring key terms are accurately recorded and tracked
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely billing of rent and fulfillment of lease obligations
- Review and calculate CAM (Common Area Maintenance), tax escalations, and other lease‑related adjustments, including CPI increases and reimbursable operating expenses
- Analyze landlord reconciliation statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with lease terms, identifying and resolving discrepancies as needed
- Audit property pass‑through expense billing history to ensure consistency and accuracy
- Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for lease portfolios and financial tracking
- Provide guidance and support on lease‑related matters, including property management issues, CAM audits, and reconciliation processes
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, real estate, business administration, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of experience in lease administration, property management, or a related field
- Strong understanding of commercial lease terms, financial structures, and compliance requirements
- Experience working with lease management systems such as MRI or similar platforms
- Advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills, with high attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams
