Audit Manager

We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to oversee diverse audit engagements for our growing team in Lutherville-Timonium. This hybrid role provides high-level schedule flexibility while leading key client accounts. You will manage multiple engagement teams, drive practice growth, and serve as a trusted advisor across various industries, without needing a specific niche or specialty.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple concurrent audit engagements from planning to final issuance.
• Review complex financial statements, disclosures, and internal control systems.
• Supervise staff and seniors, providing mentorship, performance reviews, and training.
• Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with clients and resolve high-level accounting issues.
• Monitor engagement budgets, billing timelines, and overall project profitability.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience:
  
  5+ years of progressive public accounting audit experience.
• Certification:
  Active CPA license is required.
• Education:
  
  Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting.
• Specialty:
  None required-generalist background across multiple industries is highly valued.
• Skills:
  
  Proven leadership capability, strong project management, and excellent technical knowledge of US GAAP and GAAS.
