Clark Wood, a specialist recruitment consultancy within the Public Practice Accountancy and Tax sectors, is seeking an Accounts & Audit Semi Senior to join a dynamic and forward-thinking accountancy firm in Brentwood
Role OverviewAs an Accounts & Audit Semi Senior, you will be involved in a combination of accounts preparation, tax compliance, and audit assignments. This role offers exposure to a broad range of clients, including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships across various industries. The ideal individual will have varied general practice experience, including experience of assisting on Audit assignments, and will hold either the AAT qualification or may have already begun studying towards the ACA or ACCA qualifications.

- Prepare statutory accounts for limited companies
- Prepare accounts for sole traders and partnerships
- Prepare corporation tax returns and personal tax returns
- Assist in the planning and execution of audit assignments
- Conduct audit fieldwork and work closely with senior auditors to complete audits efficiently
- Provide support to clients on accounting and tax matters
