A growing real estate investment and property management company is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its accounting team and play a key role in supporting a rapidly expanding multifamily portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys being hands-on, partnering with leadership, and contributing to process improvements in a collaborative environment.

Reporting directly to the CFO, you'll have exposure to all aspects of property accounting while helping support a growing portfolio of multifamily assets across multiple states.

Key Responsibilities
* Perform full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of multifamily properties
* Prepare and review monthly financial statements
* Complete bank reconciliations and cash account reconciliations
* Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
* Manage general ledger activity and journal entries
* Analyze financial performance and resolve accounting discrepancies
* Support investor and ownership reporting requirements
* Assist with cash flow monitoring and forecasting
* Collaborate with accounting leadership on process improvements and automation initiatives
* Work closely with property operations and executive leadership teams### Qualifications
* 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
* Property accounting experience strongly preferred
* Multifamily real estate experience highly desired
* Commercial real estate accounting experience will also be considered
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
* Experience with Yardi or similar property management/accounting software desired
* Strong Excel and financial reporting skills
* Excellent communication and organizational abilities
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment
* Self-starter with a proactive, team-oriented mindset

* Base salary: $85,000–$95,000
