Client Accountant Specialist
District Partners has been engaged to fill a Client Accountant Specialist role for a top RIA Wealth Management company. This will be a member of the Client Accounting group that provides outstanding service to the firm's clients by maintaining an accurate, complete, and up to date general ledger for a number of clients.
What You'll Do:
- Update and maintain ledger accounts, which includes incoming and outgoing wires, ACH debits and credits, outgoing checks for bill payments.
- Record deposits made through the lockbox or directly at the bank.
- Reconcile monthly bank accounts and distribute monthly checkbooks.
- Enter and reconcile Fidelity accounts.
- Submit and monitor payroll, thru Paychex, for client's corporations/foundations or personal payroll.
- Review quarterly payroll tax returns from Paychex, Form 941s and state UC 2 forms.
- Prepare monthly income and management fee statements for clients.
- Prepare proof and finalize monthly financial statements, checkbooks and cash flows.
- Issue 1099, W2 and 1042 tax forms at year end.
- Work closely with executives to resolve any issues that may arise.
What You'll Have:
- 3+ years of accounting experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Experience with Datafaction preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe, PowerPoint).

- Organized, detail-oriented, able to meet deadlines, while still maintaining flexibility to prioritize and execute to meet client and firm needs and support peak volumes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data effectively.
- Experience managing multiple projects.
- Experience thinking in complex and ever-changing situations.
- Maintains absolute confidentiality of client information and safeguards client and company data; maintains high ethical standard in all practices.
