Position reports to: vp of team travel
General description:
this position is responsible for supporting the evolving needs of the ravens team travel department in all aspects of facility management and team travel. Strong and proactive communication and collaboration skills are essential as a large part of this role involves working across departments.
* this is a team travel (not team operations) specific role.
Duration: approx. May 2026 to 1-2 weeks after the end of the baltimore ravens 2026 football season.
This position focuses specifically on team travel and encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including administrative support, travel logistics, and tasks that assist the facilities department. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, committed to ensuring efficient and safe travel operations, and proactive in identifying inefficiencies, improving processes, and supporting the day‑to‑day functions of a professional sports organization.
Essential job duties and responsibilities:
Assist with team travel tasks as assigned to prepare for the upcoming season.
Assist with coordinating off-season transportation and lodging for team.
Assist with home game tasks as assigned to prepare for the upcoming season.
Assist with other special projects as assigned.
Assist with the planning and execution of special events, training camp, etc. Hosted at the uapc, including event setup, signage placement and participant registration.
Conduct research and analysis and provide recommendations for process improvement and efficiency enhancements.
Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry, document organization and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Serve as part of the advance group for away games
Assist with overall team travel planning (hotel set up and logistics, monitoring of bus movements).
Assist facilities department with tasks as needed
Required education and/or experience:
Bachelor's degree in sports management, business administration or a related field
Experience working within an operations department for an athletic team (college, pro, etc).
Requisite abilities and/or skills:
Strong computer skills (microsoft outlook, word, excel, power point, teams and teamworks)
A collaborative service approach, commitment to teamwork, attention to detail and demonstrated commitment to process improvement.
Strong customer service skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive team, personnel, and operational information.
Expectations
Must be able to work non-traditional hours, in non-traditional settings, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
Must be willing and able to travel.
Professional demeanor and strong customer service skills.
Strong ability to operate with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
Must be organized, able to manage multiple projects, and excel in an ever-changing work environment.
Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
