Accounting Clerk III - Contracts; Security Clearance

Position: Accounting Clerk III - Contracts (5878) with Security Clearance
Location: Patuxent River

GVI, Inc, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking an Accounting Clerk for the Contracts Team onsite at Naval Air Station Patuxent River in Lexington Park, MD. Support requirements include, but are not limited to:
* Provide daily contract team support, reviewing new contracts and modifications for accurate entry into Navy ERP.
* Interpret and verify contract modification for proper database updates.
* Process manual updates for obligations and deobligations requiring corrective action.
* Evaluate purchase order line items to determine accrual eligibility.
* Communicate with various stakeholders across the organization to verify contract information.
* Maintain daily contract task tracking and executes daily reporting.
* Process invoices, service entry sheets and other financial transactions in Navy ERP.
* Support clean-up initiatives, organizing and updating system information for improved accuracy.

Position Requirements :
* US Citizen.
* Ability to pass background check and Investigation for Public Trust Clearance.
* Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
* 1-3 years of Customer Service Experience.
* Experience using Navy ERP a plus.
* Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (to include MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as a team.
* Must possess strong time management skills.
