The Prince George’s County Office of Information Technology is currently seeking qualified applicants to fill an Executive Administrative Aide to the CIO (Executive Administrative Aide-G), grade G21 position in the Director's Office.

About The Position This is highly responsible administrative and executive support work performed for the Chief Information Officer (CIO) within the Office of Information Technology (OIT). The incumbent serves as the principal administrative support employee for the CIO and performs complex, confidential, and sensitive administrative functions requiring independent judgment, discretion, and tact. Responsibilities include coordinating executive communications, managing calendars and schedules, preparing correspondence and briefing materials, coordinating meetings and special projects, monitoring assignments and action items, and serving as liaison between the CIO, executive leadership, County agencies, vendors, elected officials, and external stakeholders.

Work is performed under the general supervision of the CIO and evaluated based on effectiveness, accuracy, professionalism, confidentiality, and achievement of operational objectives.

About The Agency The Office of Information Technology (OIT) provides support for all of the agencies, departments, and branches of County government. The OIT Service Desk provides information technology support and maintenance services to Prince George’s County personnel. The Office of Information Technology is wholly dedicated to aligning technology efforts to support the strategic goals of the County. OIT will provide leadership, expertise, and resources in the ideation, development, and deployment of innovative technologies and streamlined processes to improve government efficiency, business interaction, and citizen access to government information and services.

Examples of Work
* Provides direct executive administrative support to the CIO and high-level administrative support to all Associate Directors within OIT.
* Serves as a primary point of contact for inquiries directed to the CIO and OIT executive leadership.
* Independently manages calendars, schedules meetings, and coordinates competing demands across multiple executives to ensure effective use of leadership time with minimal scheduling conflicts and timely adjustments as priorities change.
* Promotes consistency in executive administrative processes across OIT, including standardized documentation, workflows, and communication practices.
* Prepares, reviews and ensures documents are accurate, professionally formatted, compliant with County administrative procedures, and delivered within established deadlines. Documentation includes, but is not limited to, memoranda, briefing documents,…
