Keene Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram is seeking an experienced Maryland State Inspector to join our service team in Jarrettsville, MD. The ideal candidate will hold a current Maryland State Vehicle Safety Inspector License and possess strong automotive diagnostic and repair skills. Dealership Benefits:

Perform Maryland State Safety Inspections on passenger vehicles, light trucks, and SUVs in accordance with Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) regulations. Accurately identify safety defects and document inspection findings. Explain inspection results and recommended repairs to service advisors as needed. Perform diagnostic, maintenance, and repair services on vehicles including, brakes, steering and suspension, electrical systems, engine performance, heating and air conditioning, exhaust systems & tires and alignments.

Complete repair orders efficiently and accurately. Maintain compliance with dealership, manufacturer, and Maryland inspection standards. Operate diagnostic equipment and specialty tools. Keep work area clean, organized, and safe. Participate in ongoing manufacturer and technical training. Maintain productivity while ensuring quality workmanship.

Qualifications:

Current Maryland State Vehicle Safety Inspector License Valid driver's license with a clean driving record 2+ years of experience Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures Ability to use diagnostic scan tools and computerized service equipment Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA and must be able to pass pre-employment requirements including drug test and background screen Apply today and become a valued member of our dealership service team!
