D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Purchasing Agent to bid on new projects, maintain scopes of work, track blueprints, and manage costs.
CompensationSalary range: $60,000–$70,000, based on experience. This position is bonus‑eligible.
Responsibilities- Solicit bids
- Pre‑qualify subcontractors
- Set up and monitor option costs and sales prices
- Maintain and update current budgets
- Spread revised bids and obtain approval for any price increases
- Prepare direct costs analysis and variances for review
- Input original Direct Costs budget
- Execute lot starts and final proof all unit costs
- Bachelor’s degree (B A) from a four‑year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
