Role Summary

We are seeking a versatile, detail-oriented Staffing & Operations Associate to join our small team. This is a hands‑on role where you will do much more than just find candidates; you will be a central part of our day‑to‑day operations. You will manage the full talent lifecycle—from initial sourcing to the technical nuances of the government contracting (Gov Con) lifecycle. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in a small‑business environment where “that’s not my job” doesn't exist.

Responsibilities
  • Recruiting & Sourcing:
    Manage job postings, source talent on Linked In and Indeed, and lead candidate communications.
  • Candidate Submission:
    Accurately format and edit Prime resume templates to meet strict government bid requirements.
  • Security & Compliance:
    Coordinate the submission of security documentation and track candidate clearance statuses.
  • HR & Operations:
    Assist with the development of HR policies and provide support for contracting tasks and labor law alignment.
  • Administrative Support:
    Use Google Suite, Microsoft Excel & Word, Slack, and Asana to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Telework:
    This position allows telework.
Qualifications
  • Gov Con Background
    • Direct experience in government contracting recruiting, preferably within a small business environment.
  • Tech Savvy – Proficient with:
    • Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
    • Linked In
    • Indeed
    • Microsoft Excel
    • Microsoft Word
    • Google Suite
    • Asana
    • Slack
  • Attention to Detail
    • High level of precision in document formatting and administrative tracking.
  • Grit & Resilience
    • Ability to tackle difficult challenges and stay focused on finding solutions when plans change.
  • Strong Communication
    • Exceptional written and verbal skills; able to engage effectively with team members and external candidates.
  • Willingness to Learn
    • Can‑do attitude and desire to learn miscellaneous areas of the business, including HR and contract assistance.
  • Desired Skills
    • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.

The expected salary range for this position is $65,000 – $90,000.
