Contract Manager - Administrator III

Location:

Baltimore, MD. Hybrid telework schedules may be available.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare Invitations for Bids (IFB), Requests for Proposals (RFP), Requests for Information (RFIs), Small Procurement, and Sole Source proposals.
  • Manage contracts after award: monitor funding, vendor performance, compliance, review, and approve invoices.
  • Assist the Department of Procurement with the procurement process from solicitation to award of contract, including participating in the evaluation and award process.
  • Coordinate and lead contract‑related meetings such as kick‑off, quarterly partnering, and performance and compliance meetings.
  • Assist the department with daily facility issues, including research products, materials, or services contracts for the Operations Division.
  • Manage special projects or other contract management activities as assigned, which may entail attending meetings on site and performing site visits at facilities that have contractors.
Qualifications

Minimum Education
:
Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.

Minimum Experience
:
Six (6) years of experience in administrative staff or professional work. Two (2) years of this experience must include full‑cycle contract management or full‑cycle procurement.

Licenses & Certifications
:
Applicants must possess a Class C Driver's License valid in the State of Maryland and list the license number and date of expiration on the application.
