Competitive Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary:
Minimum starting at $45,000+, depending on experience with children, coaching, leadership, and team development.
Total Compensation: $45,000-$65,000+ per year (base + bonus potential)

We are looking for a motivated, energetic leader who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is passionate about helping kids grow. This is not a typical 9‑to‑5 job. As the Assistant General Manager you are one of the driving forces behind its success, and true ownership means being present when needed, whether to support your team, engage with members, or seize opportunities to grow the center.
Key Responsibilities- Support the General Manager in leading and developing a high‑performing team, creating a positive, energetic environment for coaches and members.
- Assist in overseeing sales, operations, and the member experience to help drive growth and retention.
- Partner closely with the GM to ensure smooth day‑to‑day center operations and consistent execution.
- Help drive community engagement and class growth through scheduling, outreach, and local marketing efforts.
- Lead from the front by coaching 3‑5 classes per week and modeling the Kid Strong experience.
- Support recruiting, hiring, and training of new coaches while maintaining program quality and consistency.
- Maintain a clean, organized facility with a “roll up your sleeves” mindset and willingness to jump in wherever needed.
- 1‑3+ years of experience in management, sales, customer service, or operations.
- Background in children’s programming, fitness, education, or athletics is a plus.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to motivate, engage, and inspire staff and members.
- Must be available to work weekends. Weekend availability (at least one day per week) is required.
- CPR Certification
- First Aid Certification
- Epi Pen Certification
- Ability to be active and energetic throughout the day.
- Comfortable demonstrating physical activities and coaching kids.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when needed.
