Commercial Operations Analyst

Position Summary

Commercial Operations Analyst – Monday–Friday, 8:00AM–5:00PM, 100% onsite at Catalent’s Baltimore/Harmans, MD (BWI) site. The site supports gene therapy development and manufacturing across early development, clinical, and commercial production, partnering with biotech and pharmaceutical companies. In this role, you will provide forecasting, revenue analysis, and commercial insights to drive data‑driven decisions across the business.

• Serve as a client‑facing partner supporting account health and ongoing program execution post‑contract.
• Support revenue and pipeline forecasting, including licensing milestones.
• Consolidate and interpret large data sets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Translate data insights into clear updates for Business Development, Commercial Leadership, and Site Leadership.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and KPI reporting to support decision‑making.
• Support S&OP demand planning and resource forecasting.
• Act as a key coordination point across stakeholders to ensure alignment and communication across active programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 2years of experience or exposure to biologics/large molecule drug development preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work with external stakeholders or clients in a professional setting.
• Exposure to commercial operations, account management, or program management environments preferred.
• Experience in a business analytics role preferred.
• Working knowledge of biologics drug substance manufacturing.
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (Excel, Power BI, and/or Tableau).
• Experience building and maintaining data/reporting platforms (e.g., SharePoint) preferred.

Anticipated salary range in Maryland: $95,000–115,000 plus an annual bonus target. Salary may vary based on experience, education, and business needs.
