Temporary Proposal Development Professional
Payrate: $45.00- $50.00/hr summary:
We are seeking a high-caliber temporary professional to lead the end-to-end development of compliant, compelling, and winning proposals for government agencies. Responsibilities:
- Prepare responses for requests for information, quotes, bids and proposals
- Review complex government issued RFPs and capture all technical and administrative requirements.
- Draft "point by point" responses that align with the evaluation criteria, ensuring the narrative clearly communicates our ability to meet or exceed the Agency needs.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Contracting Officers (COs); draft formal inquiries/clarifications and respond to post-submission questions.
- Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to develop content and secure commitment for contract requirements.
- Review final award documents for accuracy against the submitted bid and coordinate the internal escalation of high-risk terms to Senior Management.
- Ensure all submissions adhere to corporate legal policies and federal acquisition regulations.
- Understand business requirements, legal provisions, and Corporate Policies
Must Have
Skills:
- Experience writing proposals submitted to government (preferably Federal) agencies
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Able to compile information from multiple sources into a concise final written product.
- Able to manage time effectively. Must be able to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and meet all deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft and Google business applications.
Desired skills:
- Technical writing skills plus
- Knowledge of wireless products and services a plus
- Financial and business acumen
- Legal / contracts background a plus
Education/
Certifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Legal Studies or Communications
Pay Transparency:
The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $45.00 - $50.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience.
