Position Summary
Senior Manager, Portfolio Value & Market Access – Transcatheter Mitral and Tricuspid Therapies (TMTT)
Reporting to the Senior Director, Portfolio Value & Market Access for TMTT GHER, this role leads the development and execution of scalable value initiatives that support customer economic decision‑making and strengthen market access for Edwards’ TMTT portfolio.
- Lead the portfolio economic value strategy for TMTT, ensuring alignment with market access priorities, launch planning, adoption readiness, and customer engagement needs.
- Develop evidence‑based value narratives, frameworks, tools, and customer‑facing resources that translate clinical, economic, operational, reimbursement, and patient burden insights into clear, practical materials for hospital executives, cardiovascular service line leaders, administrators, and field teams.
- Serve as a senior subject‑matter expert on portfolio value economics, providing strategic guidance on value framing, economic objections, access barriers, and opportunities to support adoption of TMTT therapies.
- Leverage hospital analytics, procedure economics, claims data, customer segmentation insights, reimbursement dynamics, payer expectations, health policy trends, and customer feedback to refine economic messaging over time.
- Partner cross‑functionally with U.S. and Portfolio Marketing, U.S. Field Market Access, U.S. Reimbursement and Policy, Sales, and other internal teams to integrate economic value initiatives into broader commercial and market access programs.
- Identify economic evidence gaps, customer evidence needs, and opportunities to strengthen value propositions; provide input into evidence generation priorities across the TMTT portfolio.
- Establish metrics to assess adoption, effectiveness, and business impact of portfolio value tools, customer programs, and economic messaging.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in life science, health economics, health policy, or related field.
- 10 years of related experience, or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteria.
- Master’s Degree, MBA, or MPH preferred.
- 8 years of related experience, or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteria.
- Experience in health economics and/or outcomes research and reimbursement.
- Certification in a related discipline.
- Experience working with hospitals and physicians, trade associations, and professional medical organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex economic, clinical, and operational concepts into clear, actionable materials.
- Strong project management, analytical, communication, and presentation development skills.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Experience developing value frameworks, economic tools, dashboards, or evidence‑based value narratives.
- Experience using collaborative work‑management or documentation platforms such as SharePoint, Teams, or Smartsheet.
Competitive salary range for California (CA): $145,000 to $205,000 (highly experienced). Base pay varies based on qualifications, education, and prior experience. Additional benefits include performance‑based incentives and a comprehensive benefits program.
