Position Overview Cyber B.A.T. is seeking a Compliance Analyst Level 3 to support mission-focused compliance activities by evaluating internal controls, conducting audits and investigations, monitoring regulatory requirements, and identifying risks and compliance gaps. This role involves analyzing laws and regulations, developing and improving compliance processes, managing compliance incidents, providing guidance across departments, and communicating findings and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
What You'll Do
* Support compliance activities to ensure adherence to applicable laws, executive orders, directives, regulations, and mission requirements
* Conduct periodic evaluations of internal control systems, audit trails, and compliance processes
* Identify compliance gaps, assess risks, and provide recommendations for continuous process and control improvements
* Report compliance status, risks, and clearance gaps to executive leadership
* Establish and maintain consistent compliance and control frameworks across domestic and international locations
* Coordinate compliance training and implement procedural updates resulting from new or revised regulations
* Monitor, research, and analyze existing, proposed, and new federal and state statutes and assess their impact on organizational operations
* Provide guidance to departments on required policies, actions, conformance testing, and ongoing monitoring activities
* Manage compliance incidents by identifying root causes, assessing impact, documenting findings, and supporting appropriate resolution
* Conduct compliance examinations and investigations using established investigative techniques, standards, policies, and procedures
* Gather and analyze legal authorities and obligations to support compliance determinations
* Use compliance tools to audit, monitor, and collect oversight and compliance data
* Apply risk management processes and develop strategies to complete compliance activities efficiently
* Prepare, edit, and review compliance documentation, including emails, memoranda, meeting minutes, status reports, and production reports
* Establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, colleagues, partners, and representatives of other agencies
* Train and mentor new team members on compliance processes, policies, and procedures What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
* Active TS/SCI Clearance with a current Maryland Polygraph
* Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Accounting, or a related field such as Finance, Economics, Management, or Information Technology
* Relevant experience in compliance, legal, auditing, or related mission areas such as collection, intelligence, or cybersecurity
* Eight (8) years of relevant experience with an Associate's degree, seven (7) years with a Bachelor's degree, or five (5) years with a Master's degree
* Two (2) additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for an Associate's degree, for a total of ten (10) years
* Experience conducting compliance reviews, audits, investigations, or related examination activities
* Strong critical-thinking and analytical skills with the ability to make sound compliance determinations
* Experience identifying compliance risks, assessing impacts, and developing appropriate mitigation strategies
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate compliance findings and recommendations
* Ability to research and interpret laws, regulations, policies, and legal authorities
* Experience applying compliance standards, investigative procedures, and risk management processes
* Ability to develop and maintain effective professional relationships across organizational and government stakeholders
