Compensation
$80,000 base salary + $20,000+ annual commission based on project performance and profitability.
Position OverviewProject Manager is responsible for overseeing residential interior renovation, remodeling, and flooring projects from pre‑construction through final completion. The role combines project management and jobsite supervision, serving as both the primary office‑based project leader and the on‑site supervisor.

Field staff, subcontractors, and jobsite activities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients once a project begins.
- Communicate schedules, milestones, and expectations clearly.
- Provide consistent weekly project updates.
- Schedule and facilitate pre‑construction meetings with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Conduct final project walk‑throughs and ensure client satisfaction at close‑out.
- Coordinate product ordering, delivery schedules, dumpsters, and temporary facilities.
- Develop detailed project schedules and align them with selection and installation timelines.
- Conduct site visits prior to project start to confirm access, utilities, staging areas, and logistics.
- Prepare and process change orders and invoices.
- Review project costs, invoices, and budget allocations.
- Monitor actual costs versus estimated budgets and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
- Oversee day‑to‑day jobsite operations.
- Ensure quality control for subcontractors and in‑house labor.
- Schedule subcontractors at least three weeks in advance.
- Verify materials, workmanship, and installations meet project specifications and company standards.
- Maintain jobsite safety, cleanliness, and organization.
- Update project schedules weekly and ensure labor resources are properly allocated.
- Oversee all flooring and tile scopes, including pricing, estimating, scheduling, and coordination.
- Ensure materials are selected, ordered, and available to meet project schedules.
- Participate in pre‑construction meetings related to flooring and tile work.
- Assist in resolving client questions or concerns regarding flooring and tile installation.
- Maintain clear communication with management, designers, showroom staff, and subcontractors.
- Foster a respectful, accountable, solution‑oriented work environment.
- Hold team members to high standards of professionalism, quality, and efficiency.
- Provide guidance, feedback, and support to field staff.
- Background in residential construction, remodeling, or interior renovation.
- Strong understanding of cabinetry, countertops, flooring, tile, and related installation processes.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing jobsite logistics.
- Proficiency with project management software (CoConstruct or similar).
- Experience with design software such as 2020, CAD, or similar platforms.
- Leadership experience managing field staff or supervisors.
- Combination of office and active on‑site work.
- Fast‑paced environment requiring strong organization and attention to detail.
