Construction Project Superintendent

Overview

The Project Superintendent is responsible for the overall management of construction projects, from planning and scheduling to execution and completion. This role requires a minimum of 10 years of construction experience, with at least 5 years as a superintendent on projects of similar size and complexity. Familiarity with EM 385-1-1 requirements and experience in hazard identification and safety compliance are important.

The ability to interpret critical path schedules and construction drawings is essential.

• Plan, schedule, and manage the construction of projects from start to finish
• Oversee the work of subcontractors and ensure that they meet project requirements
• Monitor the progress of projects and identify potential problems early on
• Ensure that projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards
• Comply with all applicable safety regulations
• Report to the Project Manager on the status of projects

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction, with at least 5 of those years as a superintendent
• Familiarity with the requirements of EM 385-1-1
• Experience in hazard identification and safety compliance
• Ability to interpret a critical path schedule and construction drawings
• Strong organizational and time management skills
