salary statement

estimated starting salary range: usd $33.27/hr.

- usd $55.43/hr salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

• designing and producing high‑quality visual assets (graphics, packaging, displays, logos) for dod communications programs
• ensuring all deliverables meet branding standards, technical specifications, and security requirements

filling this position is contingent upon funding

• bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual arts, or related discipline (abet/cae) or an associate's degree with four years of experience or six years of experience
• active dod topsecret (or higher)
• three or more productive years performing journeyman‑level graphic design work

• mastery of adobe creative cloud (photoshop, illustrator, indesign, after effects)
• ability to produce print‑ready pdfs, vector artwork, and motion graphics
• knowledge of color‑management, pre‑press, and production workflows
• experience creating technical illustrations and info-graphics for complex systems
• strong portfolio demonstrating a range of styles and media
• excellent attention to detail; ability to meet tight deadlines and multiple stakeholder requirements
• adobe certified expert (ace) is a plus

src is a contractor for the u.s. Government, this position will require u.s. Citizenship as well as, a u.s. Government security clearance at the top secret level with top secret / sci eligibility

• domestic travel up to 10% of the year (≈2weeks)
• international travel less than 5% of the year, only when required for overseas coordination and clearance approval
