Job Overview

As a Retail Banker at Woodforest National Bank, you will be the face of the organization and play a critical role in building relationships and delivering excellent customer service across the branch. You will receive comprehensive training to engage and enhance the customer experience while offering the bank’s products and services. Development will support future advancement opportunities within Woodforest.

• Proactively identify, market, and recommend bank products and services beneficial to customers to achieve individual sales targets.
• Process transactions, open accounts, and perform account maintenance.
• Perform branch servicing duties such as vault balancing, cash ordering, and automated teller machine maintenance.
• Employ problem‑solving skills to address customer inquiries and concerns in a manner consistent with the Woodforest Experience training.

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant and transferrable sales and/or customer service experience; or an Associate’s degree and 1 year of relevant and transferrable sales and/or customer service experience; or a Bachelor’s degree.
• Must be positive, engaging, and fluent in English and Spanish.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Full‑time employment.
• No supervisory responsibility.
• Little to no overnight travel expected; occasional travel to nearby branches up to 45 miles may be required.
• Working conditions include standing most of the time, walking, moving, bending, stooping or sitting for brief periods, and occasionally lifting and carrying items up to 30 lbs.

• Previous in‑store banking experience.
