We are an established window manufacturing and installation company since 1988 looking for a Service Parts Coordinator at our main facility in Laurel, MD. We are committed to providing exceptional customer service that's second to none in the industry as well as providing a great workplace.
The Service Parts Coordinator plays an important role in ensuring the success of the Vytex Windows Ordering department. The Coordinator will be someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and extremely customer service-oriented. The typical schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 7am-4pm, with occasional overtime required during our peak seasons.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare accurate service parts quotes by researching original orders, product specifications, and service requests.
- Review service requests against original manufacturing orders to determine warranty eligibility and whether replacement parts are chargeable.
- Enter service parts orders with a high degree of accuracy while maintaining established turnaround times.
- Provide quoting support for Pro Via products and other specialty product lines.
- Collaborate closely with Service, Manufacturing, and Customer Service departments to resolve order discrepancies and technical questions.
- Identify missing service part configurations within Fene Vision and coordinate with the IT department to establish new part records.
- Continuously build and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Vytex products, components, manufacturing processes, and service part applications.
- Perform additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a proven ability to produce highly accurate work.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to learn and retain a large amount of technical product knowledge.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable interpreting manufacturing specifications and product configurations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multiple departments.
- Positive attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
- Order entry, quoting, or customer service experience required.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Window and door industry experience is strongly preferred.
- Purchasing or vendor management experience is a plus.
- Experience using ERP or manufacturing software systems (Fene Vision experience is a plus).
- Comfortable converting fractions to decimals and decimals to fractions.
- Typing speed of 50+ WPM with proficiency using a 10-key keypad.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Teams.
