Monday–Friday schedule with two weekends required per month
(When working a weekend, two weekdays will be provided off to ensure no more than 5 working days per week)
Compensation
$25.00 – $32.00 per hour
Annualized: $52,000 – $66,560 based on a 40-hour work week
Position SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Dental Assistant to join our growing clinical team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-provider environment and is committed to delivering high-quality patient care.
The Dental Assistant will support providers across a variety of procedures, helping to ensure efficient clinical flow while creating a positive and comfortable experience for patients. - Assist providers during a wide range of procedures, including restorative, surgical, and specialty treatments
- Prepare and break down operatories before and after patient visits
- Take digital radiographs and intraoral images as needed
- Maintain strict infection control and sterilization protocols
- Provide chairside support to ensure efficient and productive scheduling
- Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene
- Accurately document clinical notes and assist with charting
- Manage supplies, instruments, and equipment to ensure readiness for patient care
- Prior experience as a Dental Assistant preferred
- Radiology certification (as required by Maryland)
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and terminology
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic
- Experience with dental software systems (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental) preferred
