Job Overview
Join Clear Choice Dental Implant Centers as an EFDA Dental Assistant. In this full‑time position, you will support the Prosthodontist and the clinical team in advanced dental implant procedures, providing world‑class patient care.
Responsibilities- Assist the Prosthodontist during dental implant treatments and other advanced procedures.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, ensuring strict infection control standards.
- Provide chair‑side assistance, anticipate the dentist’s needs, and maintain a clear, organized treatment area.
- Make patients comfortable and informed throughout their visit.
- Take dental x‑rays, process radiographs, and assist with radiographic imaging.
- Prepare materials for impressions and restorations.
- Educate patients on post‑operative care and general oral hygiene.
- Support the prosthetic team in inventory management, lab coordination, and record‑keeping.
- Perform office tasks such as scheduling appointments, receiving patients, maintaining records, and ordering supplies.
- Collaborate with clinical staff (oral surgeons, hygienists, and Patient Education Consultants) to ensure exceptional care.
- Assist in specialized areas such as oral surgery, periodontics, and prosthodontics.
- Valid certifications that meet applicable state requirements.
- 1+ year of EFDA experience in an expanded role.
- 2+ years of previous experience in a dental assisting role.
- Prior experience with dental implants or prosthodontics is highly desirable.
- Strong manual dexterity and precision in handling dental instruments.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
- Comfortable with radiographic equipment and digital dental technology.
- Competitive hourly compensation ($25 – $30 per hour based on experience and certification).
