Position Overview:As a Dental Patient Coordinator, you’ll be the first point of contact for our patients, playing a vital role in creating a warm, welcoming, and efficient experience from check-in to check-out. Ideal candidates for this role are detail-oriented, compassionate, and proactive professionals who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:Patient Experience & Front Desk Coordination
- Greet and check in patients with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Handle incoming calls, schedule appointments, and answer patient inquiries.
- Provide guidance on dental procedures, insurance, and billing questions.
- Process payments and assist with financial arrangements.
- Ensure patients feel valued, informed, and comfortable throughout their visit.
- Manage and optimize the appointment schedule to enhance efficiency.
- Confirm appointments and follow up with patients as needed.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure seamless patient flow and experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
- Maintain and update patient records accurately.
- Assist with insurance verification and billing coordination.
- Perform general administrative tasks, including data entry and file management.
- Support the team with additional duties as needed.
Preferred Experience
- Worked in a previous role involving patient coordination, front desk, scheduling, or billing.
- Familiarity with dental terminology, procedures, and insurance is a bonus.
- Experience using dental or medical practice management software is helpful.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Friendly, professional, and patient-focused attitude.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- A team player with a positive and proactive approach.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
