Experienced Dental Treatment Plan Coordinator
Our dental practice is seeking an exceptional full‑time Treatment Plan Coordinator to serve as a trusted guide for patients as they move from diagnosis to treatment. This individual plays a critical role in helping patients understand their oral health needs, navigate financial considerations, and confidently move forward with care.
The Treatment Plan Coordinator is one of the most important non‑clinical positions within our practice. Serving as a bridge between the doctor, clinical team, and patients, this role is responsible for ensuring patients fully understand their treatment recommendations, insurance benefits, financial options, and next steps. The Treatment Plan Coordinator helps transform treatment recommendations into completed care by building trust, providing clarity, coordinating logistics, and creating an exceptional patient experience.
This role requires a unique combination of patient advocacy, communication, organization, and business acumen. The Treatment Plan Coordinator works closely with the doctor, clinical team, and front office to ensure patients receive a seamless experience from treatment recommendation through completion. This includes presenting treatment plans, explaining financial arrangements and insurance benefits, coordinating scheduling, following up on outstanding treatment, and helping patients overcome uncertainty through education and trust.
Success in this position is measured by the ability to build strong patient relationships, support practice goals, maintain schedule utilization, and help patients receive the care they need to achieve long‑term oral health. The ideal candidate is professional, empathetic, highly organized, confident, and comfortable discussing both clinical recommendations and financial commitments.
At our practice, we believe exceptional dentistry extends beyond clinical excellence. It requires creating an environment where patients feel informed, respected, supported, and cared for at every step of their journey. The Treatment Plan Coordinator plays a vital role in delivering that experience and serves as a key contributor to the continued growth and success of the practice.
The office is located in Gambrills, MD. The office is open four days per week:
Monday through Wednesday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM and Thursday from 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM. We are closed on Fridays.
