Dental Hygienist

Work together with the dentist to meet the oral health needs of the patient. Provide a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment. Handle a variety of clinical duties for dental office operations. These duties range in complexity and skill, requiring an exceptional level of customer service skills and a strong commitment to working well with patients, doctors, dental assistants, and other dental office team members.

Provide oral hygiene dental treatment and oral hygiene care and education in accordance with guidelines approved, issued, and regulated by the state in which you work. Apply fluoride and protective sealants. Remove calculus, stain, and plaque from above and below the gum line. Provide nutritional counseling and self-care programs to prevent disease. Record and review patient medical histories. Uphold office policy including HIPAA & OSHA.

Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Order and keep track of inventory as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.
