Intermediate Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate an architectural/engineering team to prepare project documents.
• Manage and oversee the delivery of design documents and the work of lower‑level architects.
• Interface with clients, partner firms, and other design professionals to deliver integrated design products.
• Prepare architectural documents, mentor younger staff, and perform analysis of design and construction systems.
• Oversee planning studies, design layouts, construction details, and write specifications while coordinating with manufacturers.
• Conduct site and construction inspections, compile interpretive reports, execute code analysis, select materials, and develop technical solutions.
• Research and document design and construction systems, layouts, and features for assigned projects.

• Assist in conceptual design for various types of facilities.
• Collaborate with multiple design disciplines on technical approach and design criteria.
• Coach junior architectural staff.
• Conduct independent investigations, studies, and architectural analysis.
• Develop design details, plans, and write specifications.
• Propose new designs or techniques of material significance for problem solving.
• Maintain current knowledge of codes and technologies (IBC, NFPA, etc.).
• Participate in client meetings to discuss project scope and progress.
• Present to clients and key stakeholders.
• Assist in developing technical and cost proposals.
• Develop project schedules and monitor deliverable progress, schedule, and budget.

• Professional Degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch preferred) and a minimum of 8 years’ experience across multiple market sectors, with emphasis on mass transit a plus.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams from conceptual design through construction documentation.
• Professional registration highly desirable.
• Extensive Revit Architecture and BIM
  360 expertise required.
• Proficiency in Autodesk products, Enscape, Bluebeam, Rhino3D, Grasshopper, Lumion, and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite required.
• LEED accreditation or an equivalent sustainability credential is a plus.
• Excellent design, detailing, and presentation skills (verbal and visual) are indispensable.

$88,777.71 – $ (salary range based on factors such as geography, education, experience, and certifications).
