Our UX team designs and supports a collection of enterprise recruiter and candidate platforms that help people find jobs, help recruiters find talent, and help our internal teams serve clients more effectively. The work is complex, consequential, and genuinely interesting.
We are looking for a UX Designer who leads with curiosity and solves problems before simply creating designs. You think in systems, communicate in clarity, and know how to turn messy, ambiguous challenges into experiences that work for real people.
Key UX deliverables and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Facilitating Design Thinking Workshops
- Wire framing
- Prototyping
- High-fidelity mockups
- Journey Maps
- Personas
- Collaborate with UX Researchers and/or conduct your own usability testing or other research methods to achieve business goals
- Define platform design standards, patterns, and guidelines.
Essential Functions:
The UX Designer will:
- Own the user experience design for features and clearly defined work streams.
- Create and assist in experiences that emphasize usability, clarity, accessibility, consistency, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Architecture, UX Research, and other partners to understand user needs, business objectives, technical constraints, and project requirements.
- Identify user pain points, workflow problems, unmet needs, and opportunities for improvement.
- Apply research findings, analytics, stakeholder input, and user feedback into well-reasoned design decisions.
- Create user flows, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity designs, and supporting documentation.
- Iterate designs based on user feedback, research findings, business priorities, technical constraints, and design feedback.
- Apply established design-system components, patterns, standards, and guidelines.
- Collaboratively identify research questions, assumptions, and appropriate methods while working with UX Researchers.
- Recognize when a research question or methodology requires support from a UX Researcher or more senior practitioner.
- Facilitate scoped discovery sessions, design exercises, stakeholder workshops, and design reviews.
- Communicate design concepts, research findings, recommendations, and rationale clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Participate in discussions about design and delivery trade-offs.
- Partner with senior designers or UX Leads when decisions affect multiple products, platforms, or the broader experience strategy.
- Support design handoff by providing documentation, answering implementation questions, and reviewing completed work for alignment with the intended experience.
- Manage and prioritize multiple assignments while maintaining attention to detail.
- Handle confidential information appropriately and elevate concerns when necessary.
Minimum Education and/or
Experience:
- 3–5 years of UX experience, with a portfolio that demonstrates problem-solving depth, not just visual output
- BA/BS in Design, HCI, or a related field or equivalent practical experience in a UX Design position with a focus on data
- Strong command of interaction design, information architecture, and responsive/web application design
- Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and apply UX research and data to design decisions; you don't need to run every study, but you need to know what to do with the findings
- Experience working within fast-paced product development environment
- Proficiency in Figma, and familiarity with AI-assisted design tools
- Comfortable working autonomously while knowing when to pull others in
- Experience with enterprise platform design strongly preferred
- Own the definition of the experience vision, usability requirements, and UX Architecture of a project
- Comfortable communicating, both verbally and written, the user experience designs to other cross functional team members and stakeholders.
- Facilitate UX workshops in the areas of discovery, empathy, prioritization, design review.
- Self-starter who can work autonomously and still recognize when to ask for support
