Position at a GlanceWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Workforce Development Instructor
. This individual will develop and deliver comprehensive training programs designed to prepare job seekers for success. The ideal candidate brings a passion for impactful training, strong career development, instructional design skills, and the ability to engage diverse learners.
- Deliver engaging classroom and one-on-one training in career readiness and occupational skills.
- Facilitate workshops and presentations at American Job Centers, community organizations, and partner sites.
- Evaluate participant progress, provide constructive feedback, and ensure instruction leads to successful outcomes.
- Integrate digital tools, social media, and instructional technology to enhance learning.
- Collaborate on the creation and enhancement of training curricula for staff, job seekers, businesses, and targeted populations.
- Develop workshop templates, presentations, and digital resources.
- Manage participant data, track progress, and report on key performance metrics.
- Bachelor’s degree in education, social sciences, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered
- 3+ years of teaching or facilitation experience
- Proven ability to deliver engaging instruction and integrate technology to diverse learners
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Proficiency in digital tools and instructional technology
- Valid Driver’s License
- Knowledge of workforce development principles, WIOA regulations, and employment/training services, preferred
- Certification in workforce development and/or education. (e.g., Certified Professional Resume Writer (CPRW), Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF), or similar certification is a plus
