Do you bring out the star in your students? Taylor Robinson Music follows the motto "Learn to Play From the Heart" and seeks private music instructors who share this philosophy. We strive to make music lessons accessible and affordable, believing that music education is essential to improving the world.

We are hiring private instructors, especially for strings. While we do not have a brick‑and‑mortar studio in Owings Mills, we have students ready for lessons. Lessons may take place in the students’ homes, in your own home or studio, or via webcam. Most students prefer in‑person lessons, so local instructors who can host students or travel within the Owings Mills area are required.

Compensation is on an independent contractor basis, ranging from $20 to $30 per hour, depending on travel time, experience/education, and student retention. Instructors have freedom to set their schedules and curriculum. The company handles advertising, marketing, SEO, and billing so that teachers can focus on music.

Ideal candidates are great with kids, enjoy teaching, maintain good communication with office staff, and are organized and punctual. Formal music training is not mandatory, but at least one of the following is required: a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or prior teaching experience.
