Location: Lusby

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students' communication development for the  school year! Two openings are available-one Early Intervention (11 months) and one K-12 role-both offering the chance to make a lasting impact in a school-based setting near Lusby, MD. The positions run full time from August 10th, 2026 through June 17th, 2027.

Preferred candidates excel at collaborating with educational teams, developing IEPs, and delivering therapy services that are tailored to individual student needs. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse caseload and provide critical support at either the early childhood or school-age level.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current CCC-SLP certification required
  • Valid Maryland SLP license in good standing
  • School-based SLP or Early Intervention experience preferred
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organization skills
  • Passion for supporting children's language and communication growth
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders within the school environment
  • Support IEP development, documentation, and progress monitoring
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive student outcomes
  • Deliver therapy both individually and in groups, adapting methods to meet diverse student needs
  • Maintain detailed and timely records in accordance with school and state requirements
