This contract opportunity offers the chance to serve in-person as a school psychologist, collaborating closely with a dynamic Department of Student Services for the upcoming academic year.

Qualifications:
  • Valid Maryland School Psychology License required
  • Previous experience working as a school psychologist in a K-12 educational setting preferred
  • Solid understanding of implementing evidence-based interventions and assessments
  • Excellent communication, rapport-building, and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with students, faculty, parents, and support staff
Position Highlights & Responsibilities:
  • Full-time, in-person role beginning August 10, 2026, through June 17, 2027
  • Conduct assessments, develop behavior intervention plans, and participate in eligibility meetings in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and guidance for students facing academic, social, or emotional challenges
  • Support implementation of Individualized Education Program (IEP) and 504 recommendations
  • Work collaboratively to promote mental health awareness and positive behavioral supports within the school community
  • Assist with staff consultations, parent outreach, and coordination of student services
