Admissions & Registration Representative
Garrett College invites applications for a full‑time Admissions and Registration Representative.
The Admissions & Registration Representative provides professional customer service and support in the areas of admissions, registration, and academic records. This position serves as a front‑line resource for students, faculty, staff, and the public; performs administrative and operational functions that support enrollment services and student success; maintains academic records; and acts as an authorized agent of the College in issuing official documents, including transcripts and verifications.
Qualifications: Minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience in an office setting. High School diploma;
Associate's degree in a related field is preferred.
Hiring Range: $19.32 to $22.96 per hour.

Wrestling Coach / Residence Life CoordinatorGarrett College is inviting applications for the full‑time position of Wrestling Coach/Residence Life Coordinator. This position is responsible for all facets of the wrestling program including recruitment, coaching, scheduling, transportation, and fundraising. The position also assists with game management of athletic home events, camps/clinics, and promotion of home contests. The Residential Coordinator is a live‑in position and is responsible for overseeing the students in the Residence Halls and assisting in the development and implementation of various duties assigned in the residential community.
Qualifications: Minimum education requirement is a Bachelor’s degree. One year of coaching experience at the college level is required. Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work as a team member in the college community across all departments is required.
Hiring Range: $44,930 to $53,405.

Network AdministratorGarrett College invites applications for the full‑time position of Network Administrator. The position has overall responsibility for all networks and related server systems operations to support the academic and administrative functions of the College including the operation of all related computer server support, management information system operational support, internetworking systems, and network infrastructure. Responsibilities also include working closely with members of the information technology staff, interfacing with faculty, administrators, and other staff members, and interfacing with outside vendors and suppliers.
This position performs system operations, maintenance, and oversees systems support for network equipment and related operating systems software for Internet, Intranet, and other network operations, and manages help‑desk tickets in these areas.
Qualifications: Minimum education requirement is an Associate’s degree in an IT related field. Minimum three years’ experience with network design, deployment, and support. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Hyper‑V VM and Cloud systems, MS 365, and Firewalls.
Hiring Range: $55,397 to $65,847.

Faculty in BiologyGarrett College invites applications for a full‑time faculty position in Biology for its STEM team in McHenry, Maryland. This 10‑month position (Assistant/Associate Professor rank based on qualifications and experience) is responsible for the preparation, development, and presentation of classroom and laboratory material; the academic advisement of students; and participation in the academic planning and assessment process.
As a faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching a variety of biology and related courses with potential to teach in local high schools. In addition to teaching responsibilities, you will be actively involved in college outreach activities, departmental and campus committees, curriculum development, and program and student learning assessments.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree (or near completion) in Biological Sciences or related field
- Minimum two (2) years of classroom teaching experience, post‑secondary community college level preferred
Hiring Range: Assistant Professor: $65,629 to $78,038;
Associate Professor: $72,357 to $86,036.
