School Psychologist

This opportunity is for a School Psychologist to support PreK through 12th‑grade students at a school located in Elkton, MD. The contract position offers a 35‑hour work week spread over five days, including a 30‑minute unpaid lunch each day. The role is ideal for professionals skilled in child studies, counseling, and conducting assessments, and is open to new graduates eager to start their careers.

• Provide psychological services, including evaluations and assessments for students from PreK to 12th grade
• Conduct counseling sessions to support students' emotional and behavioral needs
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Assist in child study team meetings to determine appropriate interventions and supports
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all relevant regulations and policies

• Degree in School Psychology or related field
• Ability to perform assessments and counseling effectively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
• Licensure or certification as a school psychologist preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
