The Goddard School® located at 7538 Teague Rd in Hanover, MD is seeking a warm and friendly personality to be a Welcoming Greeter to join our team! At our School, we put our teachers first because they put our students first. As a Greeter you will collaborate incoming parents and students to welcome them into the school building during morning drop off and afternoon pick up times.

• Welcome families, students, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner
• Monitor and manage the school entrance to help maintain a safe and secure environment
• Assist with student arrival and dismissal procedures
• Maintain visitor sign-in procedures and verify identification when necessary
• Communicate effectively with school administration, teachers, and families
• Help ensure the lobby and reception area remain clean, organized, and welcoming
• Receive and distribute deliveries, mail, and packages
• Provide general customer service support to prospective and current families
• Support special school events and activities as needed

• High school diploma required
• Empathy and compassion for young children
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, children and families
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children
• Must pass required state background checks and meet state minimum education, experience and credential requirements
