Adjunct Faculty Position

Organization's Summary Statement:
Resumes are currently being accepted for adjunct faculty (part-time) positions in the Department of Rehabilitation. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and Masters level courses and performing other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

A Master's degree in Rehabilitation or a closely related field and minimum of four years' experience in rehabilitation counseling, mental health counseling, or related areas are required. Preferred qualifications include a Master's Degree or Doctorate in Rehabilitation Counseling, Psychology, Counseling or a closely related field. Licensure in Rehabilitation, LGPC/LCPC, LGADC/LCADC, LGMFT/MFT, or in other closely related disciplines is also preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Strong organizational skills, ability to function autonomously, excellent communication skills, familiarity with computers, and proficiency in basic office programs such as Word and Excel are necessary.

Physical Demands:
May require extended periods of standing, bending, stooping, sitting at desk, lifting up to 25 lbs, and operation of a variety of office equipment.

Preferences:
Teaching at the master's level requires a CRC or licensure.

Licenses/Certifications:

Preferred licensures include LGPC/LCPC, LGADC/LCADC, LGMFT/MFT, and licensure in other closely related disciplines.
