Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next long-term role in a supportive secondary school?
A highly inclusive, well-established secondary school in Redbridge is seeking a skilled and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated SEND team this September. As an experienced SEN TA, you will:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEND
- Work closely with pupils with Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, speech & language needs, and moderate learning difficulties
- Support students’
academic progress, emotional regulation, and engagement in lessons - Collaborate with teachers, SENCo, and pastoral teams
- Implement and adapt strategies in line with EHCP targets
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and structured learning environment
We are looking for candidates who:
- Have previous experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant (essential)
- Have supported secondary-aged students or young people with SEND
- Are confident working with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and complex needs
- Are patient, resilient, and proactive
- Can build strong professional relationships with students and staff
- Are committed to long-term impact and progression within education
