As an ESOL Teacher with Global Faculty Organization, you will collaborate with colleagues across grade levels and departments to design and deliver effective, engaging instruction that supports English language development for students from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds. This role is both creative and rigorous—you’ll need to think beyond traditional teaching methods to meet the varied needs of English language learners. We value educators who are proactive, have a “get it done” attitude, and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills in adapting instruction to different proficiency levels.
Responsibilities- Deliver engaging English language instruction to K-12 students from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
- Achieve instructional objectives aligned with English Language Development standards and school/program goals.
- Assess and monitor students’ English proficiency to provide targeted support.
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment that promotes cultural awareness, respect, and confidence in language use
- Integrate technology, interactive activities, and differentiated strategies to meet varied proficiency leve
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in TESOL, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
- Passion for supporting English learners and fostering cultural exchange.
- Strong proficiency in English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly creative, adaptable, and able to work independently.
- Eligibility to apply for work in the United States on a J-1 visa
- Experience developing digital or online instructional resources for English learners.
- Knowledge of multiple languages or experience working in multilingual environments.
- Familiarity with WIDA standards, ACCESS testing, or similar English language proficiency assessments.
- Strong skills in analyzing student data to inform instruction.
