Job Description:

The Richard J. Bolte, Sr. School of Business at Mount St. Mary’s University seeks a full-time MBA Program Director and faculty member to provide academic leadership, student advising, and operational oversight for the Master of Business Administration program, including concentrations, certificates, and the BS/BA-to-MBA dual degree pathway. This position will also have a 12-credit teaching load within the school of business.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Advise and support MBA students from admission through graduation.

Review applications, transcripts, and degree plans in collaboration with Graduate Admissions.

Manage MBA course scheduling and coordinate faculty assignments.

Recruit, support, and evaluate adjunct and full-time faculty.

Oversee the BS/BA–MBA Dual Degree (4+1) program.

Collaborate with Athletics, the Registrar’s Office, and Graduate Admissions to support student success.

Monitor academic progress, graduation requirements, and program compliance.

Support enrollment growth through recruitment and marketing initiatives.

Represent the MBA program on university committees and participate in graduate leadership meetings.

Teach courses (12 credits) as assigned, aligned with professional and/or academic background.

Qualifications Master’s degree in Business or a related field required.

Experience in business, higher education, or both.

Strong communication, organizational, and student-service skills.

Salary Range:

The salary ranges below represent budgeted hiring averages and are provided for transparency. Final salary offers are competitive and determined based on discipline-specific market factors, qualifications, experience, and rank. In some cases, salaries may fall outside the listed averages.$85,000 – $90,000, depending on rank assigned.
