Social Studies Teacher – Grades K

We’re seeking an experienced and dynamic teacher who can bring the past and present to life for learners of all backgrounds.

This role is both creative and rigorous—you’ll need to think beyond traditional instruction to make social studies relevant, interactive, and connected to students’ real-world experiences. We value educators who are proactive, have a “get it done” attitude, and possess strong problem-solving skills in adapting lessons to diverse learners.

• Deliver engaging, standards-aligned social studies instruction to students in grades K–12.
• Foster critical thinking, analysis, and discussion skills through the study of historical events, civic responsibilities, and cultural diversity.
• Assess student progress and provide targeted support to meet individual learning needs.
• Create a classroom environment that promotes respect, curiosity, and civic engagement.
• Integrate technology, primary sources, and project-based learning to enhance instruction.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Social Studies Education, History, Political Science, or a related field.
• Passion for teaching history, civics, and global studies to students of varying ages and backgrounds.
• Strong command of English with excellent communication skills.
• Highly creative, adaptable, and able to work independently
• Eligibility to apply for a J-1 work visa in the United States.

• Experience developing digital or online social studies instructional materials.
• Knowledge of diverse historical perspectives and multicultural education approaches.
• Familiarity with inquiry-based and project-based learning strategies.
• Strong skills in analyzing student work and using assessment data to inform instruction.
