BBA After school Inc. is hiring energetic and dependable After-School Cheer & Dance Instructors to lead exciting cheerleading and dance enrichment programs for elementary-aged students at Lisbon Elementary School in Woodbine, MD.

If you love cheer, dance, movement, and inspiring children through fun and engaging activities, we'd love to hear from you. Whether you're a cheer coach, dance instructor, former cheerleader, teacher, college student, or someone with experience working with youth, this is a rewarding opportunity to help children stay active while building confidence and teamwork.

Part-time, after-school position

Monday through Friday

Between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM

1.5-hour sessions

$45 per session ($30 per hour)

No lesson planning required

Curriculum, music, and equipment provided

• Inspire confidence and creativity in young students
• Build leadership, coaching, and classroom management skills
• Curriculum and equipment are provided
• Opportunities for advancement within BBA After school
• Work in a fun, energetic, and supportive environment

• Dance instructors
• Former cheerleaders or dancers
• Physical education teachers
• Teachers and substitute teachers
• College students and recent graduates
• Camp counselors
• Anyone passionate about cheer, dance, and working with children

• Lead engaging cheer and dance classes for elementary students
• Follow BBA's structured curriculum and activities
• Teach age-appropriate cheer motions, basic dance techniques, rhythm, coordination, and teamwork
• Create a fun, safe, and inclusive learning environment
• Supervise groups of approximately 15–25 students
• Encourage confidence, creativity, and positive sportsmanship
• Communicate professionally with school staff and BBA leadership

• Cheerleading, dance, gymnastics, or coaching experience is preferred but not required
• Experience working with children is a plus
• Comfortable working with students in grades K–5
• Reliable transportation to Lisbon Elementary School in Woodbine, MD
• Dependable and punctual
• Must successfully complete the required Howard County Public School System background check and fingerprinting process
