The Learning Experience - Owings Mills, MD
Pay$17-$19 per hour
ScheduleFull-Time, Monday-Friday (8:00 AM-5:00 PM)
About The Learning ExperienceAt The Learning Experience, our Twaddler classroom serves children as they transition from infancy into toddler hood. This exciting stage is filled with language development, growing independence, social exploration, and early learning experiences. Our teachers create a nurturing environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to discover the world around them.
Key Responsibilities- Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
- Implement age-appropriate activities that support cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development
- Support language development, early communication skills, and positive peer interactions
- Guide daily routines including meals, diapering, transitions, and rest periods
- Build trusting relationships with children and families
- Maintain a clean, organized, and developmentally appropriate classroom
- Observe and document children's developmental progress
- Partner with fellow teachers to ensure a consistent and positive classroom experience
- Follow all Maryland childcare licensing and health and safety requirements
- Must be Infant/Toddler and Preschool Qualified according to Maryland licensing requirements
- Prior experience working with infants, toddlers, or young children preferredCDA or Early Childhood Education coursework preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for early childhood education and child development
- Must meet all Maryland licensing and background check requirements
