* Mandatory trainings will be scheduled during your background and fingerprinting appointment.

Job Summary:

• Follow lesson plans, assignments, and instructional materials.
• Maintains order and discipline in the classroom conducive to effective learning.
• Takes all necessary safety precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
• Creates a classroom environment that provides for student involvement in the learning process.
• Enables each student to achieve learning objectives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• The minimum qualification is a High School Diploma.
• Ability to speak and write effectively and correctly.
• Indications of excellent human relations skills.
• Ability to pass a background screening and Maryland HB486 Background Check Screening.

Pay Rates:

Daily rates:

• Non-Degree - $105/day
• 4-year Degree - $130/day
• MD Certified - $140.00/day

Long-Term Rates (Assignment for more than 6 days):

• Non-Degree - $125.00/day
• 4-year Degree - $150.00/ day
• MD Certified - $160.00/ day

• * Eligible to accrue Sick & Safe Leave
• * For long-term assignments in our Title I Elementary Schools, we look for MD Certification initially.
