BBA After school Inc. is hiring enthusiastic, dependable, and engaging After-School STEM Instructors to lead fun and hands-on STEM enrichment programs for elementary-aged students in Landover Hills, MD

• Part-time, after-school position
• Monday through Friday
• 1.5-hour sessions
• $37.50 per session ($25 per hour)
• No lesson planning required
• Curriculum and equipment provided

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging, hands-on STEM activities for elementary students
• Follow BBA's structured curriculum and lesson plans
• Introduce students to age-appropriate science, technology, engineering, and mathematics concepts
• Encourage creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork
• Create a fun, safe, and inclusive learning environment
• Supervise groups of approximately 15–25 students
• Communicate professionally with school staff and BBA leadership

Qualifications

• STEM, teaching, tutoring, or youth-program experience preferred but not required
• Strong interest or knowledge in STEM subjects
• Comfortable working with students in grades K–5
• Patient, positive, and able to explain concepts clearly
• Reliable transportation to schools throughout Landover Hills
• Dependable and punctual
• Must successfully complete the required Prince George's County Public Schools background check and fingerprinting process
