Hiring – Full-Time Early Childhood Educator

At Temple Emanuel Early Childhood Center (TEECC) we believe early childhood education is meaningful, intentional, and deeply rewarding work. TEECC is a vibrant, full-day, year-round early childhood program serving families with children ages 18-months to 5-years old. Inspired by the schools of Reggio Emilia, Italy, and our Reform Jewish context, we strive to cultivate a culture where learning is co-constructed, creativity is honored, and relationships are at the heart of everything we do.

Our aesthetically rich indoor and outdoor environments reflect our image of the curious and competent child, inviting them to play, discover, create, and express themselves in a hundred different ways. • High school diploma [or equivalent] required.
• 90-hour Certificate in Early Childhood Curriculum and Development OR 4-year College Degree in Education or a related field.
• Experience working with young children, preferably in a classroom setting.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and desire to grow as an educator.
• A collaborative spirit
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Physical ability to ensure the safety and care of young children, including, but not limited to, lifting (up to 40 lbs.), carrying or chasing children, sitting on/rising from the floor, etc.
