Overview
Newport Partners, a leading building sustainability consulting firm, is seeking an Energy Efficiency Program Analyst to support projects focused on building energy efficiency, greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction, energy efficiency program management, building codes and standards, green building initiatives, technical communications, and training.
The ideal candidate will bring experience in energy benchmarking utilizing Portfolio Manager and commercial building energy efficiency program implementation. This role requires strong research and analytical skills, excellent written and oral communication abilities, and exceptional organizational skills, along with a demonstrated interest in sustainability.
Responsibilities- Support projects focused on building energy efficiency, GHG emissions reduction, energy efficiency program management, building codes and standards, green building initiatives, technical communications, and training.
- 3–8 years of relevant experience in energy efficiency consulting, benchmarking, or energy efficiency program implementation.
- Bachelor’s degree required; professional certifications such as Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or similar are a plus.
- Experience with energy benchmarking using Portfolio Manager and implementing commercial building energy efficiency programs.
- Strong research/analytical skills, written and oral communication abilities, and organizational skills; demonstrated interest in sustainability.
- Some travel is required.
