Energy Manager
Serves as the Energy Manager for the US Army Installation Management Command (IMCOM) Directorate of Public Works (DPW) Engineering Division's Army Energy Program at Aberdeen Proving Ground. Responsible for directing, administering, and performing work concerned with energy management plans, conservation and resilience operations, and utility related matters at an IMCOM Garrison. Manages and implements the Army Energy Program with the goal of developing policy and directives to reduce energy costs and to support stewardship of resources, readiness, and sustainability.
Serves as a technical expert on facility energy utilization in support of the Army Energy Program. Acts as the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for all energy related contracts directing and controlling material acquisition and overseeing construction progress and quality, intervening into the process as necessary. Prepares all energy-related responses to outside audits, inspections, and surveys; represents the installation in dealing with other agencies.
Receives, reviews, and approves utility billing, overseeing building automation and metering systems to verify cost, consumption, and usage of energy and water systems. Conducts detailed feasibility studies to collect information for economic analysis that provides information for energy conservation program plans.
